Default Conference Call Problems?

ok when i invite for conference voice chat, first problem is that I can't read my own IM's & second is that my messanger always comes back saying voice chat was enable to start..Why is that?? Secondly my friend is having a problem which is that she can have a voice chat on one to one conversation but it does not work on the conference, she is not able to talk on the conference chat??? We both are using window XP & not vista please advice the problem & solution to it...We both have messanger 9.0BETA version

aha, that's the problem. you are using 9.0 beta. it still has bugs to be cleared. switch back tot the full version of 8 if you experience any problems and report it to yahoo so they can fix it.
