I can't copy files+pics+data to dvd?

I can't copy files+pics+data to dvd?
I have multi dvd recorder but it only reads and copys to CD disk not to the dvd disk..
and in disk managment i have only Local disk C. i tried alot to create disk D but no use.. i'm not that much expert in computers hope u guyz wil help me .. plz help me in detailz.. GOD BLEss You All
